Autodesk Maya is an Academy Award-winning software which is known as the integrated 3D modeling, animation, texturing and rendering solution. The word “Maya” is named for the Sanskrit word meaning illusion. It is used in film and television, games design, education, etc. Maya uses a cross-platform scripting language called Maya Embedded Language (MEL).
