Path Animation is the process of allowing an object to move along a path of your choice.
Steps for Path Animation

1) Place an object on the first Layer

2) Add a Motion Guide Layer.

3) Select the first frame of "Guide: Layer 1" and draw a path.

4 )Right-Click on the first frame of the "Object" Layer and select Create Motion Tween.

Notice that the object automatically gets attached to the begining of the path.

5 )Insert a Keyframe in some other frame for the "Object" Layer

6 )Insert a Frame in the same corresponding frame for "Guide: Layer 1".

7) Select the last Keyframe of the "Object" Layer and place the object at the end of the path.

8) Please note that that if you want to animate the object so that it moves to one point in the path and then to another point, you should add another keyframe for the second movement. This process was done for this tutorial.

9 )est the Movie (Ctrl+ Enter)
At this stage, your output should look something like this:

10 )When you test the movie, you will notice that the path is not visible. To make the path visible, select the first frame of " Guide: Layer 1" . Then go to the Edit menu and select "Copy".
11) Add a normal Layer. After that, select the first frame of that Layer and choose "Paste In Place" in the Edit Menu.

Your output should look something like this:

If you would like to make your object orient itself according to the path, tick the "Orient to Path" for each keyframe of the "Object Layer" . "Orient to Path" is located in the properties Inspector.

Your output should look something like this:

Notice that the Object rotates sometimes.

You have now learned Path Animation! Go ahead and try it!
