Rigging Armours and Rigid stuffs
Hai guys,
i got a question....Anyone knows how to rig a armour or any rigid stuff thts around the character..mainly thts in the shoulder areas without penetrating in the body... Thanks |

i have done a rig for a historical project in that we created seprate bones for that which will rotate with the shoulder. i am not sure whether u r looking for that check it out check the image below |

Thanks for the quick response..the method u suggest is same as parenting it to the shoulder joint.... this works fine in very minimal cases... check this thread...The armours in this char are very close to the mesh and how do u get free movement of the shoulder.? http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.p...6&t=444875 Thanks |

It has to be worked out in the design stage how it rotate and moves in transition with the arm.Once that is worked out alright u can use some basic expressions to control that.
i can work out that expression for u if u want......that is very simple |
